On Monday, our Kindergarten class enjoyed an unforgettable morning with Glenn Davison of KitingUSA! Glenn brought the magic of kite making to life, sharing his passion with a display of over ten incredible kites—from fish and lobsters to pirates and even the Mona Lisa! The kids learned about the science of aerodynamics, the importance of wind, and the math behind kite design, all in a fun, age-appropriate way.
The real excitement began when Glenn asked, “Who wants to make their own kite?” Every hand shot up! With the help of our amazing teachers and parent volunteers, each student assembled and marked their very own kite before heading out to Coach’s Field to launch them. Despite little wind, the kids were all smiles, running and laughing as they flew their kites proudly. Best of all, the kites went home with them, ready for future adventures!
A huge thank you to Glenn, our teachers, and parent helpers for making it such a memorable day!
